Floyd Rogers, President

Floyd Rogers

Floyd Rogers Sr. was the President of his own youth organization for 17 years, while headlining that he also has coaching experience in football and basketball for 12 years. While volunteering and giving his time back to the community he also is a TASO certified basketball official. Teaching and training the youth on basic fundamentals and teaching the importance of good sportsmanship is ideal to his craft.

Earl Williams

Earl Williams is a resident of Duncanville, Tx.  He is a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He comes with 15 years of football/basketball experience. He coached with the DeSoto Falcons and Duncanville Mustangs. This will be his second season with DeSoto Jets Youth Association.

Floyd Nails resides in Cedar Hill. Married for 18 years, loving devoted husband of 4 kids. 15 years of Coaching experience. Won championships back in 2001 with Tyler Hurricanes. He comes with 15 years of referring experience, also belonged to the Tyler Chapter Referee Association.  Coach Nails also coached for the DeSoto Falcons in 2021. Coach Nails bring enthusiasm, excitement, discipline and RESPECT to the DeSoto Jets Youth Association this will be his 2nd season with DJYA.

Coach Darrell

• I have been coaching Youth Football for the Desoto Falcons since 2014.

• I came in as a Mentor/ Coach first

• I Coached as a Special Teams/Defensive Back Coach with the "C Team" for 2 years

• The next year I Coached the Special Teams for the "B Team" for 2 years

• The rest of my time with The Falcons; up until 2020; I Coached the Defense and DB's for the "A Team".

What I bring to any organization is spiritual maturity. The gift of loving someone elses child like they're my own. I know how to teach loving discipline to ALL ages.

I am born in Dallas but moved to Mt. Pleasant at a young age. I came back to Dallas my Senior year of High School and graduated from SOC in '86.

Clay Mack

Clay Mack is a proud father of two DeSoto Jets and is happily married to the DeSoto Jets Secretary. Last year they decided to make joining the Desoto Jets a family affair. Clay enjoys supporting the team as the athletic director and can be found walking the fields and sidelines during practices and games. He wholeheartedly believes in giving the kids the opportunity to enjoy playing football while learning new skills and making lasting friendships.

Coach Jermaine

My name is Jermaine Smith Sr. Assistant coach C Team. I started coaching Little League Football with the North Texas Steelers in 2016 and then with the DeSoto Falcons for the last 2 years where I also coached basketball. My love for football started when I was a kid playing Pop Warner Football in Dallas I continued to play throughout High School, College, and also played Arena Football. From my personal experience I truly believe "Youth football is the best tool for installing character, discipline, and work ethic in our young men". A passionate pursuit of excellence as a youth transforms into the greatness of the leaders of our future"

Coach Will is a married father of five, a Christian Pastor, and a State Farm Commercial Insurance Specialist. Originally from the city of New Orleans, Coach Will played football from the youth level to the semi-professional level. A perennial playoff contender, Coach Will brings to the DeSoto Jets organization, a knowledge of football and a love for mentoring youth. Coach Will offers a system that is based on both fundamental and advanced concepts of the game of football, but with a focus toward principles that will assist youths as they grow in all aspects of life. Coach David

Coach David is a Husband, Father, Grandfather and 30 year Military veteran whose passion is teaching and mentoring young people. Coach David is a mentor through the Big Brother and Big Sister program in Texas. He has experience in coaching youth sports (ages 5-10). Integrity, empathy, and personal accountability are fundamental to building the leaders of tomorrow.

Ashlan Rogers

Hi, my name is Ashlan Rogers, Cheer Director for the DeSoto Jets Youth Association. My role with DJYA is to make sure all things cheer are handled in a professional and timely manner. I have 7 years experience with South Arlington Eagles recreational cheerleading which includes 2 TIYSA Cheer Competition 1st place trophies, and placement in each age category from ages 4-13. My passion has always been cheer, I was a cheerleader and on the drill team during school age years. The core values that will be instilled in the participants of DJYA is self-confidence, respect for yourself and others and to be a leader not a follower. Cheer is life so wherever you see me you will hear me rooting for my team to victory.

Dara Mack

Dara Mack joined JetNation during the 2022 season. Her husband serves as athletic director and they have two sons on the team. Dara enjoys cheering on all the players and supporting the families during season. She strongly believes in our moto "We Fly High!"

Hi, My name is Renita Wade-Cheney (Rere) I am the Assistant Cheer Director for the Desoto Jets Youth Association.

My responsibility with the organization is to support our cheer director, communicate effectively and professionally with both staff and our families. This is my third year with the organization and my second year as Assistant Cheer Director. Outside of the organization I have years in leadership where I have led many teams to success. I enjoy cheering, dancing, shopping, and making others happy.

My experience is cheer/dance from 4-14 and 2 years of high school dance. My passion is to teach, develop and be a mentor to our youth. I strive for excellence, and I strive to be the best I can be for others as an examplefor the children. I have three daughters. I live in Glenn Heights TX. Let’s have an outstanding year and lets create memories of a lifetime.
